KAVIR, THE NEW WORK COMPILED BY REWŞAN, IS NOW AVAILABLE ON ALL DIGITAL PLATFORMS! WE DON'T KNOW HOW OLD HE IS, BUT IT SEEMS THAT THIS ENTERTAINING WORK WILL NOT FALL OFF THE TONGUE.

Kavir, compiled by Rewşan, was released on all digital platforms on Friday, 4 March 2022. Rewşan compiled this work from Dengbêj Bekir Akkuş, who lives in Iğdır. The word 'Kavir' means 2-year-old lamb. (Kurmanji dialect of Kurdish) The song tells about a shepherd. The shepherd is grazing his lambs and his mind is on the girls of the village, flirting with them. Just at this moment a wolf comes and destroys 101 sheep of the shepherd. The shepherd comes to the village wailing and tells his story to the villagers. He asks them to give him one kavir per household, because he is single, he will buy and sell the kavirs, so he can get married.

This song has been sung in different regions, and the version compiled by Rewşan is from the Iğdır region. The work is a traditional text, and there are many words from the daily life of the region to which it belongs, which makes translation impossible.
