Kavir, compiled by Rewşan, was released on all digital platforms on Friday, March 4, 2022. Rewşan compiled this piece from Dengbêj Bekir Akkuş, who lives in Iğdır. The word 'Kavir' means 2-year-old lamb. (Kurmanji dialect of Kurdish) The song tells about a shepherd. The shepherd is grazing his lambs and his mind is on the girls of the village, flirting with them. Just then a wolf comes along and destroys 101 of the shepherd's sheep. The shepherd comes to the village wailing and tells his story to the villagers. He asks them to give him one kavir per household, because he is single, he will buy and sell the kavirs so that he can get married.
This song has been sung in different regions, and the version Rewşan compiled is from the Iğdır region. It is a traditional text, and there are many words from the daily life of the region to which it belongs, which makes translation impossible.
