Rewşan has exciting news for music lovers! The popular artist is releasing his first composition album titled "Hinar" on Friday, October 18, 2024. Rewşan's 9-song album, which consists entirely of his own lyrics, invites listeners to a deep emotional journey.

"Hinar" (Pomegranate) delicately explores universal themes such as love, hope, despair and self-acceptance. It talks about the possibility of us, who have many emotions, colors, identities and roles, reconciling with our own nature, and our effort to become one with our multiplicity, just like a pomegranate.

The preparation phase of the album, which consists of songs written by Rewşan in different periods of his life, took place over a long period of time. When the artist decided to release these works as a composition album and took the producer's chair, two years of arrangement, studio and mix-mastering took place in Istanbul.

With master musician and multi-instrumentalist Hakan Gürbüz in the arrangement chair, the album gains a magnificent musicality with the inclusion of musicians who are virtuosos in their fields. While Cenk Erdoğan's seminal ideas on guitars, Ediz Hafızoğlu's drums that settle in the heart of the songs and Elif Dikeç's musical language with her keyboard add an extraordinary depth to the album, the presence of Ali Emre Algır on percussion, Barış Doğukan Yazıcı on trumpet, Emre Ay on kopuz, Serkan Yıldırım on kaval and zurna gives the album a fusion quality. The album's mix & mastering engineering is by Evren Arkman.

The album cover design of "Hinar", which is also visually striking, was prepared by Better Things and combines with Senanur Akıl's photographs, while Gökçe Karaaslan and Şeyma Erikçi's styling work adds a fresh and attractive visuality to the album. The album will be distributed digitally through Believe and will also be pressed on vinyl by Aynalı Record.

"Hinar," which will bring a breath of fresh air to the music world, is counting days to meet music lovers on all digital music platforms at 00.00 on Friday, October 18. The album's Istanbul Launch Concert will take place at Volkswagen Arena on Friday, November 15, 2024.

About Rewshan

Rewşan is an Istanbul-based musician, songwriter and compiler. Having participated in many projects and groups in the past years, Rewşan stepped into his solo career with the album "Ax Lê Wesê" in 2018. In the years that followed, he gained an important place in the music world with his own compositions and compilations. In 2020, his album "Tov (Seed)", in which he included his compositions as well as past and present composers, was highly acclaimed in the world world music charts.

Last year, he achieved great success with his albums "Live Session Vol.1" and "Live Session Vol.2", which consisted of live concert performance recordings and whose videos were watched by millions.

In 2023, Rewşan gave a spectacular performance with the theme "Call For Freedom" at the Eldfesten Festival organized by the Swedish National Touring Theatre.
